Time Management and Organizational Skills
How do we acquire good time and organizational skills? Most people are looking for ways to save time, create more time, get more done in the time we have and on and on with the woes of time inadequacies.
Everyone is given 168 hours per week by our creator to do whatever we want to do in our life. Sounds simple doesn’t it? This is the secret to time management. You can’t manage it, save it, create more of it, accumulate it for later or any other action. All you can do is spend it. So the question is: how do I spend it wisely and productively?
The first thing to realize is that the Fairy Godmother is not going to come and wave her wand and solve all your problems. The habits you have acquired over the years are driving your behavior. So, the next thing to look at is: do you spend your time on highly productive tasks that create wonderful things for yourself, your organization, your family, and society or do you spend it on non-productive activities that don’t matter in the higher scheme of life? With the right system you can learn to create exciting outcomes in life on purpose and stay focused until they manifest in reality for you.
In our workshops we investigate what our attitudes toward time are and what type of habits we have created around these attitudes. Then we consider what would produce better outcomes in our lives and what changes we have to make to produce the outcomes we want.
There are really no secrets or special systems to managing time. The only real secret is learning to manage yourself by looking seriously at your time spending habits and then altering the ones that are not creating success for you in life.
